G10 moving up

This is my Grade 10 moving-up at APEC Schools, and now I'll share my experiences before moving up. A lot happened to me before achieving this success, but I have another journey ahead as a senior and a college student, which I consider another achievement in my life. It was very difficult as a student before reaching this, but I was always guided by God and I worked hard in my studies.

Since starting Grade 7, I began to adapt, then suddenly a pandemic occurred, and the entire Philippines went into lockdown. That's when I was tested; suddenly, online classes were implemented in every school, and I had to adjust to this new way of learning because I wasn't familiar with the apps used in online learning. However, I didn't give up and succeeded in overcoming all the challenges that came my way.

Sometimes I didn't know what to do because I didn't know how to use the apps for online learning, and I really struggled with it. Sometimes even when someone was teaching me, I still found it difficult, but like I said, I didn't give up immediately. After a year, I quickly learned how to use the apps needed for online learning, and I realized how enjoyable it is to use them and that they can be used for work, so I also studied them. Of course, sleepiness during online class couldn't be avoided, but I always told myself that I need to listen for my future. I want to achieve my dreams for myself and especially for my mother because she is a solo parent. That's why I strive in my studies.

Of course, I also made many friends, and I discovered new friends, and they were really kind even though we only met online as classmates, they still treated me well, and if I had any questions, they would answer me and teach me properly. At first, I was shy, but I really needed to get along because we always had groupings. It was also fun that there were students from other branches of our school in our online class. So, I also discovered different personalities, and when Grade 10 became face-to-face, our challenges came out because of issues, but in the end, we all settled it because no matter what happens, we are still a class family. We chose to fix things to get along and not have conflicts. I will miss my junior high school days because there were really a lot of happy memories and struggles, but that's where I learned to fight.

I also learned that in everything in the world, you can't achieve it right away; you have to strive and work hard if you want to obtain it. You must learn to fight and not lose heart because the battle will eventually end. I'm proud to give this to my mother as a gift for her hard work in supporting to my study.
